Description
The Xovis PC3SE is an indoor 3D people counting sensor for high ceilings in airports, train stations, shopping centre atriums, large stores and exhibition halls. It counts people with 3D stereo vision and on-device AI from a mounting height of 6.00 to 14.00 m (19.7 to 45.9 ft), covers up to 8.00 × 6.00 m per sensor and sends only anonymous counts, never images. Vemco is a Xovis Gold partner and delivers the PC3SE configured for VemCount.

Sensor and software: what you get
On the sensor: people and group counting across the covered area, privacy modes, on-device storage, API and data push. In software: dashboards, multi-site comparisons, conversion with POS data and reporting, plus paths and dwell time with VemTrack. Use the PC3SE with VemCount, which comes with a 60-day free trial (see software plans), or connect it to your own platform through the API and MQTT. Gender, age, view direction and staff exclusion extensions are not available on PC3-Series sensors.
Installation and accessories
Mount the sensor centred over the area to count. Xovis lists two PC3SE accessories: the PA-PC-MPM medium mounting plate, which keeps the same mounting position if a sensor is replaced, and the PA-PC-PM medium pivot mount for angled installs. For large halls connect several sensors to a Xovis SPIDER SPI-PU2 (available on request — contact us). Need PoE? See the Gigabit PoE injector. After mounting, Vemco can configure and validate the sensor with the remote setup and validation service, and you can extend the warranty with a 1-year or 2-year extension (PC3 variant).
Already own a Xovis sensor, or replacing a counter?
Existing Xovis PC2, PC2S, PC2R and PC3 sensors connect to VemCount without new hardware; Vemco loads firmware and licences remotely. Ask a technical specialist.

What mounting height does the Xovis PC3SE need?
The standard PC3SE mounts at 6.00–14.00 m. The PC3SE-L, -M1, -M2, -H and -UH models cover specific ranges up to 20 m and are available on request.
What is the difference between the PC3SE and the PC2SE?
The PC2SE is for ceilings of 2.20–6.00 m and supports AI extensions such as staff exclusion. The PC3SE is for high ceilings from 6 m and covers up to 8.00 × 6.00 m per sensor.
Does the PC3SE support staff exclusion or gender statistics?
No. On PC3-Series sensors Xovis lists group counting only, which is included in firmware 5.
Can the PC3SE be installed outdoors?
No. It is rated IP40 for indoor use at 0 to +45 °C. Choose the PC3SE-O for outdoor areas.
