LoRaWAN Environment Sensors

Our LoRaWAN sensors monitor building conditions wirelessly: temperature and humidity, CO2, TVOC and particulate matter, plus door contacts, leak detection and tank levels. Pair them with a LoRaWAN gateway and view the data in VemSpace. For CO2 and air quality, see our indoor air quality sensors.

Frequently asked questions

What is LoRaWAN?

LoRaWAN is a low-power, long-range wireless network protocol for IoT devices. Battery-powered sensors send small data messages to a LoRaWAN gateway, which forwards them to the cloud platform.

Does LoRaWAN need internet?

The sensors do not; they talk to a LoRaWAN gateway by radio. The gateway needs an internet connection, for example Ethernet or 4G depending on the model, to send the data on to VemSpace or another platform.
