Occupancy Sensors

Our occupancy sensors measure how desks, meeting rooms, washrooms and fitting rooms are actually used. These Milesight and Elsys sensors report presence or people counts over LoRaWAN or PoE, so facility teams can right-size space, plan cleaning and show live occupancy.

Frequently asked questions

What is an occupancy sensor?

An occupancy sensor detects whether a space such as a desk, meeting room or washroom is in use. The sensors in this collection report presence or people counts over LoRaWAN or PoE, so the data can be used for space planning and live availability.

How do occupancy sensors work?

Depending on the model, they detect motion or presence, or count people in a defined area, and send the result over LoRaWAN or PoE to a gateway or network. Each product page states the detection method and connectivity.
