Xovis PA-PC2-DP Drop Pole Mounting Adapter for PC2 Series Sensors

The Xovis PA-PC2-DP drop pole adapter is a mounting adapter for Xovis PC2-series indoor people counters such as the PC2SE and PC2RE. It fixes the sensor to a standard drop pole, for high or open ceilings in stations, warehouses and malls where the sensor has to hang lower, within its 2.20–6.00 m mounting range.

Installation and accessories

Mount the drop pole so the sensor hangs centred over the counting line at a height inside the sensor's range (PC2SE and PC2RE: 2.20–6.00 m), then fix the sensor to the adapter. For camera brackets with a 1/4 inch thread use the PA-PC2-TA thread adapter; for wall mounting the PA-PC-MB wall and ceiling mount. After mounting, Vemco can configure the sensor with the remote setup and validation service. Existing Xovis sensors connect to VemCount without new hardware.

Frequently asked questions

Is the drop pole included?
No. The PA-PC2-DP is the adapter between a standard drop pole and the sensor.

When do I need a drop pole?
When the ceiling is higher than the sensor's mounting range, or open with no surface to fix to. For ceilings above 6 m consider the PC3SE instead.

Does it fit the PC3SE?
No. It is a PC2-series accessory.
