The Xovis PC2SE is an indoor 3D people counting sensor for store entrances, shopping mall corridors, offices, museums and airports. It counts people in and out with 3D stereo vision and embedded AI, from a ceiling mounting height of 2.20 to 6.00 m, and sends only anonymous counts, never images. Choose the standard PC2SE, the PC2SE-L for heights close to 6 m, or the PC2SE-UL for low ceilings. Vemco is a Xovis Gold partner.

Sensor and software: what you get
On the sensor: in/out counting across the covered area, privacy modes, on-device storage, API and data push. In software: dashboards, multi-site comparisons, conversion with POS data and reporting. Use the PC2SE with VemCount, which comes with a 60-day free trial (see software plans), or connect it to your own platform through the API and MQTT.
Installation and accessories
Mount the sensor centred over the counting line. Use the PA-PC2-FM flush mounting kit in suspended ceilings, the PA-PC2-SM surface mounting kit on solid ceilings, or the PA-PC-PS pivot mount for angled installs. For staff exclusion add PA-PC-NTR name tags with the XC-PAB licence. The most common mistakes are the standard lens on a low, wide entrance, too little overlap between stitched sensors and cable runs over 100 m. After mounting, Vemco can configure and validate the sensor with the remote setup and validation service.
Already own a Xovis sensor, or replacing a counter?
Existing Xovis PC2, PC2S, PC2R and PC3 sensors connect to VemCount without new hardware; Vemco loads firmware and licences remotely. The PC2SE also replaces thermal, Brickstream and older 3D counters at the same position. Ask a technical specialist.

What mounting height does the Xovis PC2SE need?
The PC2SE and PC2SE-L mount at 2.20–6.00 m. For low ceilings choose the PC2SE-UL (1.95–3.50 m).
What is the difference between PC2SE, PC2SE-L and PC2SE-UL?
The same sensor optimised for different heights: the standard model for most entrances, the L model for heights close to 6 m with the largest coverage, and the UL model for low ceilings.
Can the PC2SE be installed outdoors?
No. It is an indoor sensor rated IP40 for 0 to +45 °C. For outdoor entrances choose the PC2SE-O.
How is the PC2SE powered and connected?
PoE Class 0 (IEEE 802.3af, max 7.5 W) over Cat-5e shielded cable up to 100 m. Need Wi-Fi data transfer? See the PC2RE.
Can I use my own software instead of VemCount?
