The ELSYS EMS Desk is a compact LoRaWAN® sensor designed for indoor environments such as offices, co-working spaces, libraries, and smart buildings. It detects desk occupancy using body heat sensing and also measures ambient temperature and humidity to provide a complete picture of workspace conditions.
Easily mounted under desks or on surfaces, the EMS Desk helps organizations monitor real-time desk usage and environmental comfort. It supports long-range, low-power LoRaWAN® communication, making it perfect for large office installations with minimal maintenance.
With a battery life of up to 10 years, this sensor ensures long-term reliability and cost efficiency. Data collected by the EMS Desk can be integrated with the Vemco Platform and Vemspace, allowing for real-time visualization, live maps, and automated alerts when desks become occupied or available. This enables better space utilization, smarter hot-desking strategies, and improved energy management.
