The Remote Sensor Service – Setup & Validation is designed for customers who choose to self-install their people counting sensors. Since all VEMCO sensors are delivered as plug-and-play devices, they can be easily mounted and connected by any qualified electrician or technician with experience installing surveillance cameras or network sensors.
This remote setup service is required for all self-installations to ensure maximum accuracy and full system functionality. Once the sensor is installed and connected to the internet, our technical team receives an automatic notification. We then remotely:

Configure and activate access to the Vemco Platform for data management, analytics, and integrations
The service also enables secure remote management through a reverse proxy connection. This ensures a highly secure link to our servers via DeviceManager, allowing us to perform setup, calibration, and troubleshooting without exposing your network or device to external access.
