Description
The TD Intelligence TD2000 is a 3D people counting sensor for store entrances, shopping malls, venues and commercial buildings. It counts people in and out with stereo vision and on-device deep learning, separates adults from children and filters out trolleys, mannequins, shadows and reflections. Choose the TD2000 G3 with the standard 2.2 mm lens (2.2–8 m), the TD2000 G3 with the 8.0 mm lens for high ceilings, or the cost-efficient TD2000B G3 for low to medium traffic.

Key features
- 3D stereo vision with deep learning: TD2000 G3 has a 1 TOPS AI chip; TD Intelligence states accuracy of up to 98% (based on project testing).
- Height filtering to tell adults from children and to ignore shopping carts, mannequins, shadows and reflections.
- Path linking of up to 5 TD2000 G3 sensors (up to 3 TD2000B G3) for wide entrances, without double counting.
- Group and family counting, plus optional staff exclusion and gender recognition.
- Auto configuration of height and zones, with flexible privacy options.
- Power over Ethernet (42–57 V), average 4 W, maximum 8 W; data push over HTTP, HTTPS, FTP and FTPS.
Which TD2000 version do I need?
| Shop variant (SKU) | Lens | Mounting height | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| TD2000 G3-20MW | 2.2 mm (standard) | 2.2–8 m | Most store and mall entrances, busy traffic, adult/child split |
| TD2000 G3-80MW | 8.0 mm (optional lens) | Up to 14 m | High ceilings in atriums, halls and terminals |
| TD2000B G3-20MW | 2.2 mm wide-angle | 2.5–6 m | Indoor entrances with low to medium traffic, best value |
Mounting
Mount the sensor top-down, centred over the counting line. TD2000 G3 supports horizontal or tilted mounting up to 45°; TD2000B G3 is mounted horizontally (±10°). TD Intelligence lists the TD2000 G3 for indoor use and for outdoor use with a custom mount.

Sensor and software: what you get
On the sensor: in/out counting, height filtering, path linking, on-device storage and data push. In software: dashboards, multi-site comparisons, conversion with POS data and reporting. Use the TD2000 with VemCount, which comes with a 60-day free trial (see software plans). For Re-ID and unique visitors, add a TD4001-G2 edge AI unit and VemTrack.
Installation and accessories
Power the sensor from a PoE switch such as the TP-Link TL-SG1005P or a POE48-24W-G PoE injector. After mounting, Vemco can configure and validate the counts with the remote calibration and validation service, or install everything with the installation service. Already own TD2000 sensors? They connect to VemCount without new hardware. Ask how to switch your software.
