The Milesight EM400-UDL is a LoRaWAN ultrasonic sensor that measures distance and fill level in large waste containers, tanks and silos, and sends threshold alarms when a container needs emptying or refilling.

Which frequency version do I need?
The shop SKU is the Milesight model name (EM400-UDL). Tell us your region when ordering: 868M for EU868 (Europe, Middle East, Africa) and IN865 (India); 915M for US915, AU915, KR920 and AS923. CN470 (China) is available on request. For smaller bins, see the laser-based EM400-TLD.
Sensor and software: what you get
Use the EM400-UDL with VemSpace, which comes with a 60-day free trial (see software plans). The hardware price does not include a software licence.
Installation
Mount the sensor on the inside of the lid or roof, pointing straight down at the contents. It needs a LoRaWAN gateway on the same frequency plan, such as the UG67.
