The Milesight VA31 is a staff lanyard for VS133 and VS135 Time-of-Flight people counters in stores, malls and offices. Its reflective pattern is recognised by the sensor from above, so employees wearing it are excluded from visitor counts and your footfall and conversion figures show customers only.

Installation and use
Turn on Staff Detection on the sensor's Rule page and make sure the lanyard stays visible from above. Staff uniforms must not contain reflective material, and the lanyard should not be washed. Use it with the Milesight VS133, VS135 or VS135 High Ceiling; the counts appear in VemCount. For VS125 counters use the VA21 lanyard or VA04 badge. Equipping several stores? Ask for volume pricing.

Does the VA31 work with the Milesight VS125?
No. The VA31 is for VS13x ToF counters. The VS125 uses the VA21 lanyard or VA04 badge.
Which firmware do I need?
VS133 firmware 1.0.2 or later, or VS135 firmware 1.0.5-r2 or later.
Can staff wear reflective safety vests with it?
Milesight advises that uniforms must not contain reflective material, as this can affect recognition.
