Beschreibung
The Milesight UR35 is an industrial 4G LTE router with four PoE ports for sites without fixed internet, such as pop-up stores, shopping centre kiosks, outdoor areas, construction sites and transport stops. It powers up to four PoE people counters or cameras, carries their data over 4G with dual-SIM backup, and adds serial and I/O ports for building equipment.
Buying for several sites? Shop prices are per unit and exclude VAT. For projects we quote routers, sensors, SIM data, installation, licences and support together. Request volume pricing. Partners see their own price after signing in.
Key features
- 4G LTE Cat 4 (up to 150 Mbps down / 50 Mbps up) with WCDMA/GSM fallback and dual-SIM backup.
- 4 × PoE ports: IEEE 802.3af/at, up to 30 W per port and 60 W in total (PoE output needs a 48 V DC supply).
- 5 Ethernet ports: 1 WAN + 4 LAN, 10/100 Mbps.
- Industrial I/O: RS232 and RS485 with Modbus gateway functions, 1 digital input and 1 digital output.
- Options: 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (AP or client) and GNSS, depending on version.
- VPN and management: OpenVPN, IPsec, WireGuard, ZeroTier and more; DeviceHub, SNMP, TR-069, HTTP(S) API, Python SDK. Milesight states a 3-year warranty.
Which UR35 do I need?
The SKU suffix is Milesight's 4G module code. Choose the version for the country where the router will operate. This listing is the PoE version (Milesight marks the PoE option with "P" in the full ordering code; Wi-Fi "W" and GPS "G" are further options, ask us if you need them).

Router and software
The UR35 carries data from PoE people counters and sensors to VemCount and VemSpace over 4G, both with a 60-day free trial (see software plans). Use your own SIM or ask Vemco for a data subscription.
Installation and compatible products
Use a 48 V DC power supply sized for the connected PoE devices, and place the antennas where the mobile signal is best. The PoE ports power counters such as the VS125, VS133, VS135 or Xovis PC2SE (stay within 60 W in total), or a UG65 LoRaWAN gateway. The UR35 is IP30; outdoors it needs a weatherproof enclosure. For one or two PoE devices see the UR32L.
Frequently asked questions
Which UR35 version do I need?
L04EU for Europe, the Middle East and Africa; L04AU for Australia, New Zealand and Latin America; L04AF for North America.
How many people counters can the UR35 power?
Up to four PoE devices, max 30 W per port and 60 W in total, with a 48 V DC supply. For example, four VS133 at max 23.8 W each would exceed the budget, so check the counters' power class.
Does the UR35 support dual SIM?
Yes, two mini SIM slots for backup between operators.
Does the UR35 support Modbus?
Yes, its RS232/RS485 ports work as Modbus server, client or RTU-to-TCP gateway.
