The Axis people counting camera in this collection is the Axis P8815-2, a 3D people counter with dual-lens stereo vision from the manufacturer Axis Communications. It counts people in and out, with direction detection, at the entrances of stores, offices and other buildings.
Check before ordering:
- Mounting: on the ceiling at 2.7 to 4.5 m. One sensor covers up to about 3 x 2 m, so measure the width of the entrance first.
- Power and network: Power over Ethernet. The counting runs in the sensor, without an external server.
- Housing: white or black.
The collection also holds Vemco's installation and project management service for people counters: site survey, mounting, cabling, calibration and data validation. Axis counters that are already installed connect to Vemcount without new hardware.
