The Elsys EMS Desk is a LoRaWAN desk occupancy sensor for hybrid offices, co-working spaces and libraries. Mounted under the desk, it detects whether the desk is in use and also measures temperature and humidity, without a camera. It gives facility teams real desk utilisation data for hot-desking and space planning, on a battery that lasts up to 5 years.

Mounting
Mount the sensor underneath the desk, 10–20 cm from the front edge, with the opening pointing towards the person at the desk. Let it calibrate overnight, and keep it away from radiators, hot objects and air vents, which can disturb detection.

Installation and accessories
