Beskrivelse

The Milesight VS350 is a battery-powered passage people counter for small shop entrances, fitting rooms, restrooms, corridors and meeting rooms. Two passive infrared (PIR) sensors count people in and out by direction, without a camera and without cabling, and send the counts over LoRaWAN. It suits narrow, light-traffic passages where a 3D counter would be oversized.

Key features

  • Dual PIR, bi-directional: counts in and out through a passage; no images captured.
  • Ceiling or wall: ceiling mount at 2–3 m covers a passage up to 3.1 m wide; wall mount at 1.2–1.3 m covers less than 2.3 m.
  • Wireless and battery powered: two replaceable 2700 mAh ER14505 batteries, no cabling.
  • Built-in temperature sensor (−30 to +70 °C, ±0.5 °C).
  • Data safety: stores 1,000 entries with retransmission; NFC configuration; Milesight D2D support.

Which version do I need?

About the SKU: NF350-915M is Vemco's code for the Milesight VS350 with Vemco firmware on the 915M LoRaWAN band; replace "NF" with "VS" to find it in the Milesight datasheet.

Shop SKU / band Frequency plans / regions Availability
NF350-915M (915M) US915 (North America), AU915 (Australia, Latin America), KR920 (Korea), AS923 (Asia-Pacific) Stocked
868M EU868 (Europe, Middle East, Africa), IN865 (India), RU864 (Russia) Available on request
470M CN470 (China) Available on request

In Europe, the Middle East, Africa or India? The stocked variant is 915M; ask us for the 868M version to match an EU868 or IN865 network.

Coverage and mounting

Passage width covered with ceiling mounting, from the Milesight datasheet (PIR sensitivity depends on ambient temperature; best between 15 and 30 °C):

Ceiling height Passage width
2.0 m (6.6 ft) 1.85 m
2.4 m (7.9 ft) 2.5 m
3.0 m (9.8 ft) 3.1 m

Wall mounting at 1.2–1.3 m covers a passage narrower than 2.3 m (at 20 °C). PIR counters cannot separate people walking side by side; for busy or wide entrances choose a 3D or ToF counter such as the VS133 or VS125.

Sensor and software: what you get

On the sensor: in/out counts and temperature over LoRaWAN. In software: footfall, fitting room use and occupancy trends. Vemco delivers the VS350 with Vemco firmware, ready for VemCount and VemSpace, with a 60-day free trial (see software plans). The hardware price does not include a software licence.

Installation and accessories

Mount the VS350 centred over the passage (ceiling) or at 1.2–1.3 m on the side wall. It needs a LoRaWAN gateway on the same frequency plan, such as the UG65. For cubicle-level occupancy in washrooms and fitting rooms add the VS330.

Frequently asked questions

How wide a passage can the Milesight VS350 cover?
Up to 3.1 m wide with ceiling mounting at 3 m, or less than 2.3 m with wall mounting.

Does the VS350 need cables?
No. It runs on two replaceable batteries and sends data over LoRaWAN.

Is the VS350 suitable for busy store entrances?
It is designed for narrow, light-traffic passages. PIR cannot separate people walking side by side, so busy entrances need a ToF or 3D counter.

Which LoRaWAN frequency do I need?
915M (stocked) for the Americas, Australia, Korea and most of Asia-Pacific; 868M (on request) for Europe, the Middle East, Africa, India and Russia.
