Xovis PC2S-L 3D People Counting Sensor, Wide Lens (Previous Generation)

Previous generation. The Xovis PC2S-L is a wide-lens 3D people counting sensor from the earlier PC2S generation, for replacing a PC2S-L in an existing store, mall or office installation without changing the mounting position or the multisensor layout. Xovis has since refreshed the PC2S into the Xovis PC2SE, which keeps the same design with new long-term-available components, more memory and firmware 5. For new sites choose the PC2SE range; the current wide model is the PC2SE-L.

PC2S-L or PC2SE: which do I need?

Xovis describes the PC2SE as the evolution of the PC2S with the same design, more than three times the memory for validation recordings (150 MB instead of 40 MB) and an Ethernet connector rotated 180° for easier pivot mounting. Sensor and software

On the sensor: counting and data push. In software: dashboards, multi-site comparisons, conversion with POS data and reporting. Use the PC2S-L with VemCount, which comes with a 60-day free trial (see software plans). AI extensions from the XC-PAB licence need firmware 5.6 or later on PC2S sensors.

Installation and accessories

Mount the replacement in the same position and orientation as the old unit, then let Vemco restore the configuration remotely with the remote setup and validation service. PC2-series accessories: PA-PC2-FM flush housing, PA-PC2-SM surface housing, small mounting plate, PA-PC-PS pivot mount and white or black covers. Add a 1-year or 2-year warranty extension.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Xovis PC2S-L discontinued?
It is a previous-generation model. Xovis now offers the PC2SE in place of the PC2S range, and the PC2S-L is no longer in the current Xovis sensor line-up. We keep PC2S-L units in stock for replacements in existing installations.

What is the successor of the Xovis PC2S?
The Xovis PC2SE. The wide-lens equivalent of the PC2S-L is the PC2SE-L.

Can I mix PC2S-L and PC2SE sensors on one site?
Yes, both connect to VemCount. For a multisensor, ask us to check firmware compatibility before you order.

What warranty does the PC2S-L have?
The standard Xovis warranty of 12 months, which you can extend by 1 or 2 years.
