Demographics (Age & Gender) Sensors

Age and gender sensors estimate the age group and gender of the visitors at an entrance and report the result as anonymous, aggregated statistics, for example the share of visitors per age group. Retailers and shopping centre operators compare these figures with campaigns, sales and staffing.

This collection holds:

• VC-2D AI: estimates age group and gender on the device. Mounting height 2.5 to 5 m, detection range 1 to 7 m, Power over Ethernet. It is placed next to a people counter that counts footfall.
• Xovis PC2SE: an indoor 3D people counting sensor for mounting heights up to 6 m, powered over Ethernet. Gender statistics need the Xovis XC-PAB licence.
• TD Intelligence TD1501: an AI people counting sensor. Gender analytics need a TD4001 edge AI computing unit: the TD4001-G2, or the TD4001-GM for up to 16 sensors.

Before ordering, check the mounting height at the entrance and whether you need age groups, gender or both.
