The Milesight VS330 is a battery-powered bathroom occupancy sensor for toilet cubicles, washrooms and fitting rooms in malls, offices, airports and stores. It combines a Time-of-Flight laser distance sensor with PIR, so it detects people who are sitting or standing still, without a camera. Live occupied/vacant status goes over LoRaWAN to signage, cleaning schedules and analytics.

Which version do I need?
About the SKU: NF330 is Vemco's code for the Milesight VS330 delivered with Vemco firmware; replace "NF" with "VS" to find it in the Milesight datasheet. The VS330 is LoRaWAN-only and supports the following frequency plans:

Detection and mounting
Mount one VS330 per cubicle or fitting room, on the ceiling or wall, and angle the sensor towards the seat or standing area. The ToF sensor measures up to 3.5 m (11.5 ft); the PIR sensor detects motion up to 2.5 m (8.2 ft).

Sensor and software: what you get
On the sensor: occupied/vacant status and distance data over LoRaWAN. In software: live availability, usage per cubicle and cleaning on demand. Vemco delivers the VS330 with Vemco firmware, ready for VemSpace and fitting room analytics in VemCount, with a 60-day free trial (see software plans). The hardware price does not include a software licence.
Installation and accessories
The VS330 needs a LoRaWAN gateway on the same frequency plan, such as the UG65 indoor gateway. To count visitors at the washroom or fitting room entrance, combine it with the VS350 passage people counter.
