The TD Intelligence TD1501 is a tilt-view AI people counting sensor with Re-ID for retail stores, shopping malls, airports, transport hubs and smart buildings. One TD1501 counts entering, exiting and passing traffic, so fewer units cover more area. It processes video on the device and sends anonymous data only. Re-ID analytics such as unique visitors, visit duration and shopper journeys need a TD4001 edge AI unit.

Mounting
Tilt-view mounting is the standard set-up. The TD1501 mounts at 2.5–7 m (maximum depends on the lens) with a tilt of up to 90°; the TD1501 G2 mounts at 2.5–25 m with a tilt of up to 68°, using 6, 12 or 16 mm lenses for long distances.

Sensor and software: what you get
On the sensor: in/out/passer-by counting, dwell and zone analytics and data push. With a TD4001 edge AI unit: Re-ID, unique visitors, repeat visits, staff exclusion and journeys. In software: use it with VemTrack and VemCount, both with a 60-day free trial (see software plans).
Installation and accessories
For Re-ID add the TD4001-G2 edge AI unit or, for larger multi-sensor sites, the TD4001-GM. Power several sensors with the TP-Link TL-SG1005P PoE switch. Vemco can plan and install the project with the installation service. Ask about a Re-ID project.

Does the TD1501 need a TD4001 unit?
For basic in, out and passer-by counting, no. For Re-ID analytics such as unique visitors, visit duration, staff exclusion and shopper journeys, yes.
What mounting height does the TD1501 need?
2.5–7 m for the TD1501 (depending on lens) and 2.5–25 m for the TD1501 G2, mounted with a tilted view.
Does the TD1501 store faces or images?
No. Video is processed on the device and only anonymous data is sent.
What is Re-ID people counting?
Re-identification recognises the same anonymous visitor across sensors, so you can count unique visitors and repeat visits instead of raw passes.
How is the TD1501 powered?
By PoE or 12 V DC.
