The Milesight VS135 high ceiling version is a Time-of-Flight people counter for mounting heights from 2 to 6.5 m, with the same second-generation ToF and AI as the standard version: depth-map counting, no image capture, up to 99.8% accuracy. Built for mall entrances, atriums, supermarkets and transport halls where the standard 3.5 m limit is not enough.
Key features
- Installation height up to 6.5 m, detection range 2 to 6.5 m, 60° x 45° field of view.
- Bi-directional counting, U-turn filtering, regional counting, dwell time, children and adult differentiation, staff detection with the VA31 lanyard.
- IP65, built-in radar for low-power sleep, 3-axis tilt compensation, local storage and retransmission.
- Connectivity: PoE (alarm I/O, HTTP, MQTT, stitching up to 4 devices), LoRaWAN, or 4G cellular.
Works with
Vemcount and VemSpace. Accessories: VB02 tilt bracket, VA31 staff lanyard. For ceilings up to 3.5 m see the standard VS135; for stereo vision with gender and age see the VS125.
Replacing an existing counter?
Replaces high-mount thermal and older ToF counters and 2D camera counters at mall and hall entrances, in the same position. Vemco handles the migration of your historical data. Ask about a replacement project.
Planning the installation
Mount the sensor centred over the entrance between 2 and 6.5 m, pointing straight down; the 3-axis sensor compensates small tilts. The narrower 60° x 45° view means one sensor covers less width at low height than the standard version, so below 3.5 m choose the standard VS135. For wide mall entrances, plan up to 4 PoE units with stitching. After mounting, Vemco sets the counting line and validates the counts with the remote calibration and validation service.
Frequently asked questions
